The Circular Economy and BREEAM Outstanding Project Tour

We are delighted to announce that Green Vision will be returning in February with a half day conference themed around Circular Economy including a tour of one of the most sustainable university buildings in the UK - the Bright Building at Bradford University.

The Circular Economy will have a profound impact on building design, resources and waste management. The Circular Economy has been valued at a potential £29billion and estimated to create over 100,00 new jobs, and as defined by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation is both restorative in nature and design seeking to maintain products, components and materials at their highest value at all times - avoiding down-cycling, conversion to energy or disposal to landfill.

The University of Bradford's Bright Building, home to the Re:Centre, has achieved the highest ever BREEAM Outstanding rating for a University. The Bright Building is at the cutting edge of sustainable construction with the vast majority of the building products being either natural or recycled.

This event will give you the opportunity to hear, see and debate some of the most innovative approaches in sustainability today.
