Evolving Connectivity 2020

April 23rd marks the return of CAI’s annual trade event Evolving Connectivity. To be held at the National Conference Centre at the National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham.  If your business needs to understand the demands of signal reception and distribution today and in the future, it’s the “must attend” event of the year.

While 700mhz clearance remains an issue for installers, the presentation from Ben Roome of DMSL/@800 will be essential listening, and so too will be the seminars that follow from John Furlong from Digital UK/Freeview and Peter Madry from Ofcom. All 3 will then be available to take questions in a Q&A that follows.

Later in the day the future of digital TV will be considered when Alex Buchan from the DTG presents - something that attendee’s always look forward to.  Event visitors will also be brought up to date with everything Freesat when Andre Santos presents.  Possibly more prosaically but equally relevant and important, especially following the release of the 18th Wiring Regulations, Robin Earl from Dehn will talk about Surge Protection to BS7671, BS EN 60728-11 and BS EN 62305.  A topic we get questions from members about every week.

It goes without saying, but we will mention it, that as with previous years over 40 (and counting) brands will be displaying their latest products for the trade, and will have staff on hand to answer any questions event visitors have.  Several exhibitors, including Grax and Blake UK will have prize draws taking place, so make sure you remember to visit their stands to enter.

Lastly, but hopefully not leastly, the entire CAI team will be available to speak to members and other visitors throughout the event.  We will also be offering a prize draw for a £300 CAI Training Voucher, so make sure you enter that – plus any training courses booked during Evolving Connectivity 2020 will benefit from a 10% discount.

So be there, or miss out!
